Abstract | |||
A diverse group of breast cancer studies in Africa, including (i) a description of breast cancer molecular subtypes in Kenya, and their risk factor correlates; (ii) a description of breast density in Kenyan women, and their risk factor correlates; (iii) a description of a model multidisciplinary breast cancer education and early detection ""breast camp"" outreach program in Kenya; (iv) efforts to evaluate ER, PR and HER2 receptor status on fine needle aspirate (FNA) specimens of breast cancer; and (v) evaluation of the genetic and genomic landscape of breast cancer in African women. |
